DHS: Numerator: Number of sexually active unmarried women aged 15 to 49 years who have a need for family planning, but are not using any form of modern contraception.
Denominator: Number of sexually active unmarried women aged 15 to 49 years, including women who are not currently married or in a consensual union (single, divorced, widowed, and separated) and who had sexual intercourse within the last 30 days.
Calculation: Numerator divided by the denominator, multiplied by 100.
