Number of de facto men aged 15 to 49 years who are HIV positive\nFor surveys with testing to distinguish between HIV-1 and HIV-2:\n2. Number of de facto men aged 15 to 49 years who are HIV-1 positive\n3. Number of de facto men aged 15 to 49 years who are HIV-2 positive\n4. Denominator:<\/em>
Number of de facto men aged 15 to 49 years interviewed and tested. This is the number of men who completed an individual interview, whose blood specimen completed the HIV testing algorithm for the survey with a final HIV test result, i.e., positive, negative, indeterminate, or inconclusive.\n
Calculation:<\/em>
The HIV test results data should first be merged to the men\u2019s dataset by cluster number, household number and line number. This file also contains a sample weight variable with a separate non-response adjustment for participation in the survey HIV test. Cases are weighted by the HIV sample weight, not the men\u2019s sample weights. Numerator divided by the denominator, multiplied by 100.
