\nDemand satisfied
<\/p>\n
\nProportion of all women aged 15 to 24 who have their need for family planning satisfied with modern methods

\nThe numerator is the number of women aged 15 to 24 years who are currently using, or whose partner is currently using, at least one modern contraceptive method. The denominator is the total demand for family planning (the sum of the number of women aged 15 to 24 years using any contraceptive method and the number of women aged 15 to 24 years with unmet need for family planning). The quotient is then multiplied by 100 to arrive at the percentage of women (aged 15 to 24 years years) who have their need for family planning satisfied with modern methods.\n
